This is the support online classroom for the weekend training for people that are ready to start working as Curanderos or Curanderas
Description:
After you had learned different Curanderismo practices like doing a Limpia Ceremony, Susto therapy, Rameada, and things like that; and you are ready to perform as a Curanderismo practitioner you may face certain issues that are typical of every person moving forward to the next level. In this training, we will go over the insights of what it is in real life to offer services as a Curanderismo practitioner and what are the challenges that you may encounter.
Some of the things that we are going to learn are: how to be confident in performing ceremonies for others, how to deal with difficult clients, how to prepare a space for working, etc.
Dates, times and place:
Friday, June 3th – from 5:30 to 8 pm
Saturday, June 4th – from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
Sunday, June 5th – from 8:00 am to 4:40 pm
This training is held at Ixtoii Institute of Shamanism and Curanderismo in Fresno, California, USA
Tuition:
Tuition: $750
- Deposit to save your space $250. This is due on April 26, 2022, and will give you access to our online class for this training in which you will have assignments, quizzes, and important information. You will be able to access this online class forever.
- A balance of $500 is due on May 20, 2022
Requisites:
These are ideal requisites for students that want to take this training. If you feel you are lacking something, please contact me and we will find a way to prepare a private class for you before this training. My intention is to prepare amazing Curanderismo practitioners that are ready to start working with clients.
Everyone is welcome regardless of gender, age, race, or anything so to rephrase: Any human being is welcome. All you need to do is have a strong desire to learn, respect for the tradition and for the Abuela de la tradicion, the person that carries the tradition and teaches it, which is me, Ixtoii Paloma Cervantes, respect for the other students and for yourself.

- Know how to cleanse yourself
- Know how to perform Curanderismo Ceremonies like Limpias, etc.
- Know shamanic techniques and how to journey
- Know how to use a copalera or Popoxcomitl
- Own spiritual tools and know how to use them

Instructor and Maestra of the Mexican Tradition:
The Curanderismo Tradition of Mexico is the Ancient way of bringing the body, mind, emotions, and soul back into a state of balance. Customarily an elder Curandera(o) teaches the tradition in oral form. Ixtoii Paloma Cervantes is an elder, instructor, or “Maestra” of the Curanderismo Tradition and also a full-time Curandera and Shaman. She was born and raised in Mexico into the tradition. She started working full-time as a Curandera in the 1980’s. In the late 90’s she moved to the UK and then to California (USA) where she kept her practice and started to teach Mexican Shamanism and Curanderismo and other spiritual modalities. Now not only does she teach in California, but also in other states and countries.
It is important to know that she is not an anthropologist or historian. Paloma learned from her teachers in the ancient way, “oral tradition”.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Paloma is a Mexican Shaman who believes that "medicine plants" are helpful to some people only when used properly in ceremonies. The use of any conscious expanding plant or animal medicines should only be used with the strict and loving guidance of an experienced facilitator. She does not allow the use of any plants, brews, ceremonial tobacco, recreational drugs, alcohol, cannabis, etc. in her workshops or healing ceremonies. Please do not use these before or during her events and services. If you do so you will be asked to leave the event immediately and without a refund. For medicinal plant or animal medicine guidance, please arrange for a private consultation to discuss your particular needs and expectations.
